About us.
— the atmosphere your words create long after someone has finished reading.
Sociaroma Studio is an independent creative practice led by an MA-qualified creative copywriter in Kent. We blend literary depth with strategic brand thinking to turn loose threads into striking cultural narratives, arts journalism, and commercial copy. Whether you need to articulate a complex artistic concept or ground your brand message, we shape ideas until they land somewhere true.
Sociaroma is about the scent a story leaves behind

Meet Niki Wright,
Former big‑brand ad team player, now an MA‑qualified copywriter helping cultural and community projects in Kent and London tell stories that linger.
I am a creative writer, researcher and word strategist dedicated to untangling the complex threads of your ideas to craft stories that resonate deeply. Think of me as the person who untangles the thread of your ideas. You arrive with a spool of half formed thoughts and scraps of notepaper; together we tease out the strongest strands and wind them into a story that feels like you.
While we work, we don't rush or force ideas into a template. I ask questions, listen for what you're trying to achieve, and reflect it back until it feels right. My job is to hold the thread steady so you can see your own story more clearly - and feel confident sharing it with the people you want to reach.
I love working in collaboration - listening closely, asking questions and following the links between people, ideas and experiences. Together, we spot the connections other might miss and find the words that make those threads clear and meaningful to the people you want to reach.
Over the years, I've helped founders, small companies and established brands spot the quiet connections in their work and them them into stories people can actually feel - on the page, in store and online.
If you would like to see how these threads come together in real work, you'll find a few of my favourite projects just below.
Philosophy in practice.
A quick glance at threads we've followed from the whiteboard to the world.
Orange / TCL – Research‑led product story• Catalyst (the mess): A global tech brand with scattered research, clashing stakeholder opinions, and no clear way to talk about what made their products different.• Artefact (the work): A research‑grounded narrative that turned dense findings into a clear, human story their teams could actually use.• Destination (the truth): A product story that felt honest, confident and usable across teams — not just a slogan, but language people believed in.
Cornilo Riding School – Confidence‑led brand story• Catalyst (the mess): A much‑loved local riding school with a loyal community, but no words that captured the quiet, confidence‑building magic of what they did.• Artefact (the work): A brand story and web copy that centred real riders, real nerves and real breakthroughs.• Destination (the truth): A voice that sounded like them — gentle, grounded and brave — so new riders could recognise themselves in the story.
Artillery Architects – ESG gifting concept• Catalyst (the mess): A pile of half‑formed ideas about “sustainable gifting” with no clear thread, purpose or emotional hook.• Artefact (the work): A concept story that tied gifting to place, memory and long‑term impact, not just “eco” buzzwords.• Destination (the truth): A gifting narrative that felt specific and human — something clients could picture, feel and say yes to.

The whiteboard ritual
Step 1. The gathering
We start at the board. You bring the raw, unfiltered muddle of your ideas, and together we map them out in ink. No judgement, no filters – just chasing the spark.
Step 2. Tracking the threads
We isolate the strongest themes and follow those narrative lines. We look for the patterns, building a deliberate map so your characters or brand voice can find their footing.
Step 3. The landing
We polish, hone and edit until your story lands somewhere that feels undeniably true. You leave the studio with an elegant, finished piece of art ready for the world.
If you’d like to work with Niki on your own project, start with the whiteboard ritual below.
